Artisanal • Textural • Expressive
Handcrafted by artisans in Usiacurí, a vibrant town on Colombia’s Caribbean coast, these woven placemats are a celebration of heritage, patience, and skill. Using a traditional technique passed down through generations, each piece begins with a carefully shaped wireframe, over which intricate patterns are woven by hand using natural Iraca palm.
The result is a richly detailed surface that feels both graphic and organic—elevating the table with warmth, depth, and quiet character. Subtle shifts in weave and tone give each placemat a sense of movement, reflecting the human hand behind its creation.
Designed to layer beautifully with ceramics, glassware, and linens, these placemats bring a collected, worldly sensibility to everyday dining and special gatherings alike.
This is craftsmanship as beauty—honest, tactile, and meant to be shared.
