Green Goddess Bowl

Poetic • Sculptural • Communal

Designed as a centerpiece for shared meals, this generously scaled serving bowl elevates functional dining into an artful experience. Crafted in fine porcelain, it expands the botanical and literary language of the collection, supporting family-style dishes and elevated entertaining with quiet elegance.

Both functional and decorative, the bowl’s sculptural presence extends beyond the table. When left out after the meal, it becomes a statement object—anchoring a space with intention and refined form. Ideal for design-forward homes and sustainably minded hosts, it celebrates utility infused with artistry.

Created within the framework of the Atardece en Trópico (Tropical Sunset) series, the Vorágine studies were born from a long-standing reflection on the novel La Vorágine by José Eustasio Rivera—a story set between the plains and the Amazon jungle and first encountered during the artist’s childhood.

The novel’s epilogue lingered in memory, resurfacing over time through drawings that evolved and reemerged in these recent works. The result is a vessel shaped by remembrance, movement, and place—where literature, landscape, and form converge into a functional work of art.
