Wavy Single Placemat (Set of 4)

Artisanal • Textural • Expressive

Handwoven by skilled artisans in Usiacurí, a vibrant town along Colombia’s Caribbean coast, these placemats celebrate tradition, craft, and color in equal measure. Using a technique passed down through generations, each piece begins with a carefully shaped wireframe, over which intricate patterns are woven by hand using natural Iraca palm.

The result is a richly detailed surface that feels both graphic and organic—elevating everyday table settings with texture, warmth, and personality. Subtle variations in weave, tone, and form highlight the handmade nature of each placemat, making every piece feel individual and alive.

Perfect for layering with ceramic, glass, or linen, these placemats bring a collected, worldly sensibility to the table. They embody Chromatique’s belief that joy lives in craftsmanship, color, and the beauty of the imperfect.

This is tableware as storytelling—rooted in place, made by hand, and meant to be shared.
